Sex Addiction

Sexual addiction describes the phenomenon in which individuals report being unable to manage their sexual behavior. Individuals with a sexual addiction have an unusually intense sex drive and thoughts of sex dominate the individual’s thoughts and experience. The same compulsive behavior that characterizes other addictions also is typical of sex addiction.
Common Behaviors Include:
Compulsive masturbation
Extra marital affairs/multiple partners/one-night stands
Risk taking behaviors-unsafe sex, prostitution
Voyeurism/Exhibitionism
Sexual harassment/Rape/Molestation
